APPLY
Write up a 1-2 page proposal that explains a little bit about who you are and what you want to use the award for and why. The proposal needs to include a rough budget that outlines how you plan to use the award. Feel free to jimmy the margins, spacing, and font size as you please, but we'll reject anything written in 10 pt font or less.
E-mail your application to [email protected] and to the Sid Rich Magisters. We might follow up with you with extra questions but it doesn't mean anything if you don't hear from us. The Sid Rich Magisters will announce the winner at the Spring Associates Dinner.

** Special Notes for 2021 Applications
This is an incredibly hard year for so many. On top of the coronavirus epidemic, Houston, along with much of Texas has recently suffered a disaster. Please contact us if you'd like to apply and need any special supports.
As in previous years, we tend to favor applications that wouldn't occur without our support. We'd rather support something small and special for the applicants themselves and/or their communities and are less likely to support projects where our award is a "drop in the bucket." We realize this may be especially challenging this year when there are so many in need of basic services. Nonetheless, we are happy to support the ingenuity of students to find unique ways to enrich their lives and those around them.
As Associate's Night has been cancelled, we'll likely announce the winners about a week after applications close.
